Citrus College has once again been recognized for its efforts to support student veterans.
In November 2026, U.S. Veterans Magazine included Citrus College in its annual Top Veteran School directory. The national publication serves veterans, active-duty military personnel and their families. Its directory highlights colleges and universities across the country that provide resources and services for veterans and other military-connected students.
“Student-veterans bring valuable experience and leadership to our campus community,” said Dr. Greg Schulz, superintendent/president of Citrus College. “Being included in U.S. Veterans Magazine’s Top Veteran School directory reflects our commitment to ensuring military-connected students have access to the resources, guidance and support they need to achieve their educational goals.”
Citrus College earned its place in the Top Veteran School directory for the resources and support services its Veterans Success Center provides to student-veterans.
This distinction adds to a long history of recognition for the college. Most recently, in spring 2026, Citrus College was named a Military Friendly School and Military Spouse Friendly School by VIQTORY, a veteran-owned small business. Two years earlier, Military Times ranked Citrus College 12th in California and 22nd among colleges and universities in the western region in its Best for Vets rankings.
“Being recognized by organizations that evaluate how colleges serve the military-connected community reinforces the important work we do every day,” Superintendent/President Schulz said. “We are proud of our Veterans Success Center and the dedicated employees who help our student-veterans navigate college, access support services and build a strong foundation for future success.”
